I began my teaching career in Fresno, California in 1983 teaching a bilingual 5th grade classroom of 36 students. It was the beginning of a career that I love and continue to enjoy. I have taught every grade from Pre-school to 9th (except for 1st and 3rd grades) in the last 35 years. I am excited to be teaching new subjects this year but even happier that I can still be in the classroom guiding students each day to reach their full potential. I am a mother of 3 adult children and grandmother to 5 beautiful grandchildren. I enjoy mission work, playing piano at church, working in my garden, anything crafty, playing with my grandchildren and teaching your children.
Below is a mini tour of our classroom.
